Has anyone else heard people around you about how much they are planning, how much they’re thinking and of course my favorite, ‘what someone should be doing.’ This bothers me because it honestly seems nothing is really getting done anymore, it just seems that results have gone away and left a path paved with peoples ‘good intentions’, mind you a road that seems to be leading to hell.

Are we really that dumb….?
Anyone noticed the reports that Senator Clinton doesn’t seem to want to answer questions as of late? Wouldn’t that raise some red flags to anyone with common sense that the candidate may be lack luster with ideas? Or how about the word of the year for every single democratic candidate, free? Red flags should be raised by anyone with half a brain that M A Y B E these candidates are trying to buy votes? Heck, how about a holy man that wares his symbol on his sleeve to hide from the fact he was an awful governor? Do I even need to explain the red flag situation for this one?
I bring this up because there was a time that we would ware shirts that said, “I’m with stupid!” and of course there would be an arrow pointed to either side of us. Now I take a step back and look around to the people following these presidential candidates and all that comes to mind is one question, “are these people really that dumb, are we?” I know it comes off mean, but this isn’t the time as a country we have the luxury to make the wrong mistake again. Everyone says it over and over again, we had to go through Cater before we got Reagan, that being said I don’t know a single sane person who thinks that Goldwater P R O B I T I L Y would have done a better job.
But we didn’t, because just like the “glory” days which gave us Cater the American under educated are being fed line after line of free cheese, no questions asked or answered, 20 second bites of news for “perspective” and of course we can’t forget that one lad who is trying to make it clear if Christ was alive he’d vote for him. Now as far as those items go they don’t come close to bothering me as much as the people falling for it. You would think that anyone who watched A N Y television in their life, or read a book or spoke to any other human being on this planet would hear that nonsense and shrug their shoulders and see it for what it is, pandering, lying and snake oil.
So why isn’t the majority of Americans seeing this like we are? Why is it when you take a single person aside and have a conversation on what’s best for America that most of the time you’re on the same page? The answer many of us are saying is Mob Mentality that reason jumps out the window followed by common sense just to be apart of the mob. But that wouldn’t explain why both parties having picked one single candidate to run behind or better yet why Senator Clinton and Mayor Giuliani haven’t run away with this thing. I am starting to understand that not only have become a country that the majority could care less about what’s best for the country but more for what’s better for them.
How else could we explain the mindless following of Senator Clinton when she can’t keep the same stance on A N Y position ranging from Iraq, healthcare or dare I say it driver licensees? It seems that her followers care more about the Senators husband then her as a candidate; if that is the case then these have to be the bottom of the barrel when it comes to those of us we want making tough choices. Or how about those who follow Senator Edwards who looks littering his path with free everything and making sure those evil rich people pay more of everything? Do any one who attend his gathering work for a living, how about have gone to school or even speak English? Or last how about the former Governor who attacked another Governor for his beliefs but has gone on the war path telling Christians how we understands the plight of being a Christian in today’s world and wait, this is the best one, being attacked for their beliefs. Whaaat? I presume that those of his followers are both really fuming at the rest of the world for what they see as attacks against their beliefs (and there are legitimate cases) and they all are open hypocrites because it’s all fun and games to follow someone who is opening attacking another’s beliefs but god (yes god) forbid someone attacks yours, sheesh. What I am trying to get at is are we as a whole really that dumb or do we just honestly don’t care anymore about what’s best for the country rather our ‘free’ cheese?
